13.7 IPv6 BGP Filtering Mechanisms

As with IPv4, the filtering mechanisms applied to neighbor statements in the IPv6 address-family configuration are applied per-neighbor, and observe a particular order:

For incoming routes:

  1. Route-map in
  2. Filter-list in
  3. Prefix-list in

For outgoing routes:

  1. Prefix-list out
  2. Filter-list out
  3. Route-map out
